Didn't get return offer from PWC? Doesn't really say much about your quality.... maybe other companies are wondering why you haven't already got a job....

Nothings really 'wrong ' with you CV. Seems like a typical good CV for a young graduate. Now if you ask - If there is nothing wrong then why cant I find a job - thats a different question! Simple answer - market's tough, bad timing.

academically and socially a very pleasant CV..but you show no reason why any financial institution should want to hire you. you have studied hard , but then so have many !
where is the substance behind the " demonstrated talent for sales" comment
However we all have to start somewhere..network like mad, find the names of business heads and try and speak to them,,and apply to every grad scheme there is
Good Luck

You are barking up the wrong tree my friend. Not much wrong with your cv. A lot wrong though with your opening comment. Accept right now that you are unlikely to a got a FO spot and concentrate on ops & finance in the buy side or try for a big four ACA route.

If you have to do sales then be perepared to work for a bucket shop.

I would remove the mention of having an interest in football, which is a sport associated with the working class and yobbish behaviour. Any such mention would only hinder your chances of securing employment.

Additionally, I would remove the section entitled 'Other:', because, while it may appear to present you as a more pro-active candidate, very few, if any, hiring managers are going to care about whether you joined a society. The City is known as a meritocracy. Employers want people who can deliver value to their firms; not people who are willing to waste a weekend joining some teenage social club.

I would also suggest that you aim to explain your experience with a more individual and focused perspective. Currently, it sounds a bit too generic. For example, everybody in financial services can work with a team (or they would not be employed, or will soon be sacked), can produce reports, et al. Instead try to give mention to specific aspects of projects that you have been involved with.

Nothing really, fairly impressive CV for someone who has just finished an MSc, the only major problem here, is that your trying to enter the market at the worst ever time for graduates, especially in areas such as sales and trading (although I imagine that you've heard that a million times already). Have you considered staying within the big four at least temporarily until things begin to pick up properly?

I think you have a very strong CV especially with your languages and your work experience.
Additionally, the IM course you did is very strong and also from a reputable school (i know it).
Maybe ask recruitment agents and see what they have to say. Try add a small paragraph profile about yourself and what you would like to get into.
Hope this is useful.

Btw, I am in the same situation as yourself. Times are hard buddy but don't give up - be persitent.
